Experience Healing and Energizing Yantra Art at 'Art with Heart' Exhibit

Do you like a soothing, healing and peaceful atmosphere where you can relax into your being of pure bliss? Honestly, who doesn’t.

A local artist, Ma Nithyananda Udaysree, creates healing and meditative Yantra Art now on display at SWIHA, the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. Swiha offers not only classes on the healing arts like yoga and reiki but also a diverse range of artists an outlet with ‘Art with Heart’, continuous exhibitions of heart centered and metaphysical pieces of art. Every three months new artists exhibit their works.

Ma Udaysree has a number of digital yantra art and some pieces of spirituality based abstract acrylics on display.

Ma Udaysree says: "Spiritual growth and evolution is one of two paths an individual can choose to go. Existence itself offers you a myriad of techniques to evolve to higher states of consciousness. One such technique to raise individual consciousness is intensely immersing yourself in the creation of or meditation on sacred yantra art."

She continues explaining what Yantra Art is. "Yantras are of geometrical design and are used for worship and meditation. They serve as centering devices or symbolic designs of the energy pattern of a deity. Yantras are made out of metal plates like copper, created on silk fabric or paper, and used for worship and meditation. Even if the yantra art enthusiast is not a meditator, it’s ok. Viewing yantra art itself works through its symbolism subtly on you and your environment infusing it with an uplifting and centering energy. It helps you to connect with the center of your Being to experience more inner peace, bliss and harmony in your life.

Keeping yantra art of any kind but especially the Sri Yantra, an expression of enlightenment and mother energy, in your home or pooja room is auspicious. These images can be used for worship or as meditation and centering devices. Of course you can use yantra art for decorating your home or workspace, too. Yantra art is perfect for the yoga studio, temple, or any kind of holistic environment.
