Governor, Attorney General And More Than 4500 Community Members Visit India Festival 2010

Neither rain nor ominous clouds dampened the spirits of community members or State Leaders who came to enjoy India Festival 2010 organized by the Indo American Foundation on Saturday, Feb 20, 2010. The event was a huge success drawing over 4500 people. Festival attendees came out in large numbers to taste the variety of different kinds of food, entertainment, shopping, children's activities and much more that were offered at the event.

It was indeed a privilege to have the Governor of Arizona, the Honorable Jan Brewer and the State Attorney General, the Honorable Terry Goddard grace the occasion.

Children...

Most people associate children with a natural innocence. Most of us come from a privileged life; in that we have the basic essentials provided for us, so we can survive. We grew up in a home, went through a school system, had a sense of belonging, security within our home, and were given opportunities to allow our skills to be polished.

What most of us probably do not think about on a daily basis are those young innocent children around the world who are not protected, who are abused, who are trafficked, who are exploited, who are not allowed to be young and retain their innocence.
